Abstract
Un procesador de banda base (10) para procesar información, que comprende un demultiplexor (15, 20) dispuesto para obtener dos o más flujos demultiplexados que llevan unas partes respectivas de la información, a unas velocidades de datos respectivas, un procesador de flujos (25, 30, 40) para procesar cada uno de los flujos demultiplexados antes de la transmisión a través de un canal de transmisión espacial respectivo, y un controlador (50, 155, 165) que está dispuesto para controlar el procesamiento independientemente del control de las velocidades de datos basándose en unos parámetros de más largo plazo de acuerdo con una métrica de estadísticas de canal y para controlar unos parámetros de más corto plazo de acuerdo con las mediciones de canal, respectivamente, en el que el control basado en los parámetros de más largo plazo y en los parámetros de más corto plazo se realiza de acuerdo con un primer bucle y un segundo bucle, respectivamente, siendo los bucles primero y segundo independientes o anidados, y estando el controlador dispuesto además para controlar las variaciones en el procesamiento a una primera frecuencia que no excede un límite dado, mientras que está dispuesto para controlar las velocidades de datos a una segunda frecuencia que excede dicho límite.
