Abstract
El dispositivo para la caracterización del comportamiento de fluidos multifase pretende facilitar el estudio de burbujas de gas en distintos tipos de líquidos transparentes, de modo que pueda determinase su forma, posición y movimiento mediante técnicas que registran la distorsión producida por el efecto de refracción (ya que el fluido y el gas tienen índices de refracción diferentes). Está compuesto por un sistema de adquisición de imagen y un tanque con dos cavidades estancas, una frontal para el líquido multifase y otra posterior en la que se disponen los elementos de iluminación y calibración. El mecanismo de retroiluminación evita que posibles reflejos o causticas dificulten el posterior análisis de las imágenes capturadas.The device for characterizing the behavior of multiphase fluids aims to facilitate the study of gas bubbles in different types of transparent liquids, so that their shape, position and movement can be determined by means of techniques that record the distortion produced by the refraction effect (already that fluid and gas have different refractive indices).
