Abstract

Composición para recubrimiento, la cual es útil para la producción de revestimientos para substratos de láminas metálicas para latas metálicas para el almacenamiento y/o transporte de alimentos o bebidas, o la tapa de las mismas, la cual composición comprende los siguientes componentes: (a) de un 30 a un 90 % en peso de un polímero de cloruro de polivinilo (PVC), (b) de un 7 a un 25 % en peso de una resina acrílica con un índice de acidez por debajo de 20, (c) de un 3 a un 40 % en peso de un agente retículante, el cual se obtiene a partir de fenol, para-terc-butilfenol, xilenol, o una mezcla de los mismos, y formaldehído, (d) de un 0 a un 8 % en peso de aditivo, (e) de un 0 a un 50 % en peso de pigmento, y (f) un componente disolvente, en donde todos los porcentajes en peso son sobre la base de un peso total seco de la composición para revestimiento (sin disolventes), y la composición contiene menos de un 0,01 % en peso, de bisfenol-A-diglicidil-éter ("BADGE"), de resinas de bisfenol-A y otros grupos epoxi.
