Abstract

Description

Exhibitor for an article such as an artichoke and packaging comprising said exhibitor accompanied by its article.

The invention relates to the field of conditioning and presentation of manufactured articles, and more particularly to bathroom artichokes, possibly associated with accessories such as water supply hoses.

A bath artichoke comprises a head, provided with nozzles for the projection of water in the form of jets and a handle integral with the head (and possibly provided with a selector or a switch), of which one end is grounded to allow the threading of a fitting provided at one end of the feed hose.

The conditioning of bath artichokes is complex for at least two reasons: first, the multiplicity of forms that artichokes can take makes it difficult to use a single display that adapts to the various models of artichokes; Second, the ergonomic shapes of the artichokes make it difficult to use displays in simple ways.

It is known from the French patent application FR 2,775,665 a device for presenting a bath artichoke, comprising a suspension insert and a sheathing capsule by means of which the artichoke is hooked to the insert. This solution has a double drawback. First, it is voluminous because the insert extends in the prolongation of the artichoke. Then, it does not allow the buyer to check the correct dimension of the artichoke thread.

It is known from the European patent application EP 1,209,095 an exhibitor for an artichoke that has the characteristics mentioned in the preamble of claim 1. It comprises a first part that wraps the head of the artichoke, and a second part suitable for receiving a Artichoke mango end. If this exhibitor has, in the device of document FR 2,775,665, the advantage of allowing the user to check the size of the artichoke thread, on the contrary, it has the main drawback of adapting only to a single type of artichoke, of dimensions predetermined Any variation in the diameter of the head or in the length of the handle needs to modify the dimensions of the display in depth. It seems impossible to standardize this display adapting it for several models of artichokes of different shapes or sizes.

A first objective is to allow a certain standardization of the presentation of articles such as artichokes, by means of a universal display.

A second objective is to simplify the manufacture of said display.

A third objective is to allow the buyer to handle the presented article without difficulty minimizing the inconvenience caused by the presence of the exhibitor.

A fourth objective is to allow the buyer to check the compatibility of the article (in particular an artichoke) with an existing system (mainly a connection with a water supply hose).

Accordingly, according to a first aspect, an exhibitor for an article such as an artichoke is proposed, said article comprising a handle and a head, this display comprising:

-

a substantially flat support part, which forms a receiving area of the article head,

-

 a tongue protruding from the part of the support near a lower end thereof, this tongue being provided with a recess for the passage of a threaded end of the handle of the article, characterized in that the tongue comprises a folding line that separates a section end of the tongue, provided with the recess, of a base section, whereby the tongue protrudes from the support part, this folding line allowing the flexing of the end section relative to the base section.

It is proposed, according to a second aspect, a cardboard mold intended to be folded to obtain an display as described above, comprising this mold:

-

in the vicinity of one end, an open cutting line, which defines the contour of the tongue, a folding line being defined between two ends of the cutting line,

-

a recess inside the perimeter defined by the cut line.

an exhibitor as described above,

According to a third aspect, a package comprising:

 an article (particularly an artichoke) comprising a head and a handle provided with a threaded end, the article head being in the receiving area of the support part, and the handle extending obliquely relative to the support part, passing through The threaded end of the handle recesses through the tongue.

Figure 1 shows a mold 1, made of a flat material such as cardboard, whose folding leads to an display 2 illustrated in Figure 2, also entering the composition of a packaging 3 (hereinafter referred to as "packaging" in accordance with the uses in force in the sale of articles), illustrated in Figures 3 to 6, for the presentation and sale of one or more articles 4, particularly in the field of faucets. This article 4 is an artichoke, which may be associated, as illustrated in Figures 3 to 6, with an accessory 5 such as a water supply hose of the artichoke 4.

The mold 1 is composed of two mold means 6, 7, namely a front mold half 6 and a rear mold half 7, substantially symmetrical in relation to a central folding line 8 (represented by mixed dashed lines in Figure 1) around which the mold means 6, 7 are intended to fold over each other, as explained below. The mold means 6, 7 have substantially the same contour, in this case in the form of an orthopedic sole. This form is not limiting: it could be square, rectangular, elliptical, tapered, ogive, without affecting the functionalities of the exhibitor 2.

As can be seen in Figure 1, the mold 1 has two oblong cut-outs 9, provided one in the previous mold half 6, the other in the rear mold half 7, symmetrical in relation to the central folding line 8, intended to form by overlapping a hole for the passage of a suspension rail of the display 2 inside a presentation cabinet.

The previous mold means 6 is, at a lower end 10, provided with a groove 11 which extends along a transverse direction perpendicular to the general (longitudinal) direction of extension of the mold 1.

In the opposite part in relation to the central folding line 8, the rear mold means 7 is provided with an open cut line 12, substantially U-shaped, comprising a core 13 in the form of an arc of a circle, and two segments 14 laterals that form a closed angle, of the order of some degrees. A fold line 15 (represented by mixed dashed lines in Figure 1) is defined between the opposite ends of the lateral segments 14.

The cutting line 12 and the folding line 15 thus delimit a tongue 16 whose function is explained below.

As can be clearly seen in the detail circle of Figure 1, at its end the lateral segments 14 of the cutting line 12 form a sag 17 defining a tooth 18 whose function is explained below.

Measured transversely to the joint of the core 13 with the lateral segments 14 and at the level of the sag 17, the width of the tongue 16 is less than the length of the groove 11 (also measured transversely). On the contrary, measured transversely at the level of the teeth 18, the width of the tongue 16 is greater than the length of the groove 11.

A secondary folding line 19 is formed transversely through the tongue 16, joining the two lateral segments 14. This secondary folding line 19 separates the tongue 16 into a base section 20, on the side of the folding line 15, and an end section 21, on the side of the core 13 of the cutting line 12.

As can be seen in Figure 1, a recess 22 is provided in the end section 21. This recess 22 is formed by a closed contour cut in a general star shape.

The mold 1 is on the other hand perforated by a plurality of holes 23, formed symmetrically in relation to the central folding line 8 in the mold means 6, 7, for the passage of clamps 24 for fixing one or more articles 4 (possibly assortment (s) with one or more accessories 5) in the display 2.

More precisely, as shown in FIG. 1, each mold means 6, 7, is perforated by at least two central holes 23 for the passage of a clamp 24 for fixing the artichoke 4 to the display 2, which contains a handle 25 of the artichoke 4 with a connection with a head 26 of the artichoke 4. In variant, and as illustrated in figures 3 to 6, each mold means 6, 7, may be perforated with peripheral holes 23 for fixing accessories 5 in the display 2 by means of additional clamps 24.

The display 2 is only illustrated in Figure 2. It is obtained by folding the mold 1 just described, by the following procedure:

-

first, a thrust is exerted on the tongue 16 until it is detached from the rear mold half 7 along the cutting line 12;

-

 the tongue 16 is then folded around its folding line 15, to position it raised substantially at right angles to the rear mold half 7;

-

Then, the previous mold half 6 is folded over the rear mold half 7 around the central folding line 8, on the side where the tongue 16 extends. Once this fold is made, the tongue 16 is inserted into the groove 11. Upon arrival in the vicinity of the teeth 18, the groove 11 rubs against the lateral segments 14, whose increasing width becomes greater than the length of the groove 11. The insertion of the tongue 16 into the groove 11 is then forced until it exceeds the teeth 18 to engage in the hooks 17, which causes the locking of the previous mold half 6 in its folded position against the rear mold half 7, as illustrated in the detail circle of Figure 2. The tongue 16 then extends in projection, substantially perpendicular to the mold means 6, 7, through the groove 11.

The half molds 6, 7 thus superimposed and held against each other together form a substantially flat support part 27, forming a receiving area 28 of the head 26 of the artichoke 4.

The oblong cuts 9 of the two half molds 6, 7 are positioned to the right of each other. In Figure 2 it can be seen that these cuts 9 are formed in a leg 29 that extends at an upper end of the support part 27.

Similarly, the holes 23 drilled in each mold half 6, 7 are located to the right of each other. It is also appreciated that the contours of the half molds 6, 7 are confused.

The tongue 16, which rises at a right angle to the support part 27 on the side of an anterior face 30 and in the vicinity of a lower end thereof, is provided to receive the handle 25 of the artichoke 4.

More precisely, as can be seen in Figure 3, the recess 22 is provided to allow the passage of a threaded end 31 of the handle 25 of the artichoke 4, in order to allow a buyer to check the compatibility of the threading with a connection of your choice, of predetermined dimension.

The star shape of the recess 22 is provided to ensure sufficient tightening of the threaded end 31 of the handle 25, in order to ensure the maintenance of the artichoke 4 in the display 2.

Thanks to its secondary folding line 19, the tongue 16 has a certain flexibility, the end section 21 being able to articulate relative to the base section 20 around this folding line 19. It follows a certain freedom in the positioning of the tongue 16, between:

-

a normal position, represented by solid lines in figures 3 and 5, in which the tongue 16 extends perpendicularly in the support part 27, corresponding to a certain size and / or a certain dimension of the artichoke, and

-

a flexed position, represented with broken lines in figures 3 and 5, in which the base section 20 is inclined relative to the normal position, and in which the end section 21 can maintain a substantially perpendicular position with respect to to support part 27.

[0035] With the display 2, a packaging 3 can be formed comprising at least:

the exhibitor 2,

an artichoke 4,

-

an organ 24 for fixing the artichoke 4 to the display 2.

The artichoke 4 is mounted in the display 2 on the front face 20 of the latter, intended to be turned towards the buyers once the display 2 is hung by the oblong cutouts 9 in a presentation rail.

The head 26 of the artichoke is received in the receiving area 28 provided for this purpose, and the handle 25 is positioned obliquely in relation to the plane of the support part 27 (as illustrated in Figure 5), in order of introducing the threaded end 31 through the star recess 22 provided in the tongue 16.

In order to solidly and inviolably fix the artichoke 4 in the display 2, a fixing member 24 is added, in this case a clamp of plastic material such as polyamide or the like. This clamp 24 is inserted through the holes 23 and tightens the handle 25 of the artichoke at its junction with the head 26. This results in a firm and definitive fixation, as well as a precise positioning, of the artichoke 4 on the display 2 , without the possibility of separation or displacement, unless the exhibitor deteriorates 2.

[0039] The packaging 3 may also comprise one or more additional accessories 5.

As can be seen in Figures 3 to 6, the packaging 3 can particularly include a hose 5 for connecting the artichoke 4 to a tap, and for feeding it with water from it.

Supplementary peripheral holes 23 may then be provided in the display 2 for the passage of clamps 24, which allow fixing the hose 5 in the display 2, preferably on the side of a rear face 32 thereof, opposite to his face 30 anterior.

The display 2 that has just been described, and the packaging 3 that contributes to form, have the following advantages:

First, the display 2 can be suitable for different types of artichokes 4, ranges, dimensions and / or varied shapes, without it being necessary to modify the general shape of the display 2 which is universal and therefore allows to standardize the presentation of the articles.

Second, the manufacture of the exhibitor 2 is simple. It can be done by a simple cut and fold of a mold piece 1 made of a flat material such as cardboard, plastic sheet, or the like.

Indeed, it is enough to position the artichoke 4, by inserting the threaded end 31 of the handle 25 into the recess 22 and placing the head 26 against the front face 30 (which is flat). Eventually, in extreme cases a modification of the positioning of the holes 23 can be foreseen, which limits those that are the modifications to be made to the exhibitor 2. Thanks to the flatness of the support part 27, the display is adapted to several head diameters 26, as illustrated in Figure 4 where a head 26 of larger diameter has been shown with broken lines. The flexibility of the tongue 16 makes it possible to guarantee an adaptation of the display to most of the handle extensions 25 (as illustrated in Figure 5, where a handle 25 of longer length has been represented with broken lines), without it is necessary to change the position of the holes 23.

Thirdly, thanks in particular to the flatness of the support part 27, and the projection extension of the tongue 16, the handle 25 of the artichoke 4 extends obliquely in relation to the support part 27, which leaves around of the handle 25 free space to allow manipulation without difficulty of the artichoke 4.

Fourth, the presence of the recess 22 in an end section 21 of the tongue 16 allows the buyer to verify without difficulty the compatibility of the end thread 31 with a connection of his choice.

In addition, the shape of the support part 27, and in particular its flatness, allows accessories 5, particularly a hose, to be attached thereto on a rear face 32. In other words, it is possible to hook articles and / or 10 accessories on both sides of the display 2.

1. Display (2) for an article (4) such as an artichoke, comprising the indicated article (2) a handle (25) and a head (26), including this display (2):

the tongue (16) comprises a folding line (19) that separates an end section (21) from the tongue (16), provided with the recess (22), a base section (20), by means of which the tongue (16) protrudes from the support part (27), this folding line (19) allowing bending of the end section (21) relative to the base section (20).
