Description
Medio de fijación y procedimiento para su
fabricación.
La invención se refiere a un medio de fijación
según el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1 y a un procedimiento para
su fabricación. Un medio de fijación semejante se conoce del
documento US 2 641 154 A.
Los medios de fijación en el sentido de esta
solicitud son especialmente grapas. Estas consisten en un hilo
plano o redondo curvado en U. Se conoce proveer los extremos de los
brazos con una entalladura de cuchilla que da al brazo un recorrido
recto en el material en el que se clavan las grapas. Además, es
conocido el proveer a las grapas en los extremos de los brazos con
una entalladura excéntrica de sierra. Por ello, al clavarse los
brazos de las grapas discurren lateralmente respecto al eje del
brazo original y por ello elevan en muchos materiales las
resistencias al desenclavado.
Las grapas se fabrican con entalladuras de
sierra cortando los alambres individuales inclinadamente en los
extremos sobre un canto, luego se doblan y reúnen una pluralidad de
alambres individuales sobre un cuerpo de forma y finalmente se pegan
formando una barra de una pluralidad de grapas.
Las barras de grapas se ponen mediante aparatos
de clavar, en cuyo caso se trata con frecuencia de "clavadores de
aire comprimido" accionados neumáticamente o clavadores
accionados hidráulicamente, accionados por gas, accionados
eléctricamente o accionados a mano y que presentan un recubrimiento
elástico.
La velocidad de producción de las barras de
grapas está limitada especialmente por la elaboración de los
alambres individuales.
El documento nombrado al inicio US 2 641 154 A
da a conocer grapas con entalladuras para anclaje de los brazos en
el material sustrato. Para clavar las grapas en un material no
homogéneo puede ocurrir que los brazos no se desvíen o se desvíen en
una forma no deseada, con consecuencias desventajosas para los
valores de clavado y desenclavado.
El documento US 2 376 936 A da a conocer clavos
con entallas o vaciados que forman pliegues para plegar los clavos
transversalmente respecto a la dirección de clavado y anclar
fijamente en un sustrato frente a la extracción. Por ello es
necesario golpear el clavo con su extremo de penetración contra una
base dura ya que sino no se dobla en la posición preparada. El
empleo de este medio de fijación está limitado por la necesidad del
golpeo contra un contraapoyo duro que no puede emplearse
siempre.
El documento FR 707 271 A describe una grapa con
varillas que están dobladas en total frente a la base de la grapa.
Esto puede conducir al clavarse en un sustrato duro a que ambas
varillas se plieguen contra la base y el medio de fijación no
penetre en el sustrato. Además, las varillas penetran en el mejor de
los casos rectilíneamente en el sustrato, de forma que los valores
de desenclavado sólo aumentan insignificantemente.
El documento GB 1 407 510 A se refiere a grapas
cuyas varillas presentan cerca de sus extremos acodamientos. En una
barra de grapas los extremos de grapas colindantes están doblados
alternativamente hacia fuera y hacia adentro. Dos grapas
colindantes se colocan al mismo tiempo. El desvío en sentido
contrario debe obtener un anclaje mejorado en el sustrato. También
en estas grapas existe el problema de que las varillas pueden doblar
al colocarlas en un sustrato especialmente duro.
El documento US 2 153 874 da a conocer grapas
cuyas varillas encierran un ángulo agudo u obtuso con la base y
presentan al menos un acodamiento o curvatura. Las varillas están
especialmente amenazadas de doblarse a causa del considerable desvío
del eje de clavado.
Partiendo de ello la invención tiene el objetivo
de poner a disposición un medio de fijación que presente un brazo o
varilla que discurra lateralmente al clavarse en un material y pueda
producirse con una productividad más elevada. Además, debe ponerse
a disposición un procedimiento para la fabricación del medio de
fijación.
Respecto al producto se resuelve el objetivo
mediante un medio de fijación con las características de la
reivindicación 1. Realizaciones ventajosas del medio de fijación se
muestran en las reivindicaciones secundarias.
El medio de fijación según la invención tiene al
menos una varilla con un extremo clavable en un material y al menos
una zona de varilla con sección transversal irregularmente
debilitada frente a las secciones transversales de ambas zonas de
varilla colindantes.
De forma sorprendente se ha comprobado que el
medio de fijación discurre lateralmente respecto al eje de clavado
al clavarse en el material a causa del debilitamiento irregular de
la sección transversal. Debilitamiento irregular significa que la
sección transversal de la zona de varilla está debilitada en una
cara de la varilla y no en la cara situada enfrente, o que está
debilitada más fuertemente hacia una cara de la varilla que respecto
a la cara situada enfrente. Por consiguiente, la varilla discurre
al clavarse en el material hacia la cara en la que está debilitada
o bien en la que está debilitada más fuertemente. Por ello, se
consigue el aumento deseado de la resistencia al desenclavado.
También es posible por ello dar al medio de fijación un recorrido
deseado en un material que puede ser deseable con vistas a una
construcción especial. El debilitamiento irregular de la sección
transversal en una zona de varilla en la que colindan zonas de
varilla a ambas caras presenta ventajas técnicas de producción
frente a la entalladura de sierra conocida, lo que hace posible
velocidades de producción mucho más elevadas y reducciones de
costes.
La sección transversal puede debilitarse
irregularmente de diferentes maneras. Por ejemplo, básicamente es
posible reducir la resistencia del material en una parte de la
sección transversal, por ejemplo, mediante un tratamiento térmico
por una cara (mediante calor o frío) u otro tratamiento que conduzca
a una reducción de la resistencia del material. Según una
realización preferida la sección transversal irregularmente
debilitada es una sección transversal irregularmente reducida.
La sección transversal puede estar reducida de
nuevo de formas diferentes, por ejemplo, mediante mecanizado con
arranque de viruta. Según una realización preferida la sección
transversal está reducida por conformación, especialmente mediante
estampación en solo una cara de la varilla.
El medio de fijación tiene al menos una varilla
con un extremo clavable en un material y un acodamiento.
De forma sorprendente se ha confirmado que el
medio de fijación discurre lateralmente respecto al eje de clavado
al clavarse en el material a causa del acodamiento. El acodamiento
designa una zona de varilla que encierra un ángulo con el eje sobre
la superficie de varilla colindante. Por consiguiente, la varilla
discurre al clavarse en el material hacia la cara respecto a la que
la zona de varilla que entra primero está acodada frente a la zona
de varilla siguiente. Por ello se consigue el aumento deseado de la
resistencia de desenclavado. También es posible por ello dar al
material de fijación un recorrido deseado en un material que puede
ser deseable con vistas a una construcción especial. Los medios de
fijación con un acodamiento pueden fabricarse con una productividad
más
elevada.

Especialmente ventajoso presenta el medio de
fijación tanto una zona de varilla con una sección transversal
debilitada irregularmente, como también un acodamiento. El
acodamiento está dirigido preferiblemente hacia la cara en la que
se encuentra el debilitamiento de la sección transversal. Mediante
el acodamiento se apoya ventajosamente el recorrido lateral de la
varilla al clavarse hacia la cara del debilitamiento de la sección
transversal.
Según una realización el acodamiento presenta un
ángulo de 1º a 7º. Según otra realización el acodamiento presenta un
ángulo de 3º a 5º. Especialmente ventajoso es un acodamiento de
aproximadamente 4º.
Según una realización el acodamiento parte de la
zona de varilla con sección transversal irregularmente reducida.
Esto es especialmente ventajoso para la fabricación de la sección
transversal irregularmente reducida y del acodamiento. Esto puede
producirse mediante un único mecanizado.
Según una realización la sección transversal
irregularmente debilitada y/o el acodamiento está realizado cerca
de un extremo de la varilla con la que el medio de fijación puede
clavarse en el material. Por ello puede conseguirse un desvío
especialmente elevado de la varilla.
Según otra realización el extremo clavable de la
varilla presenta una entalladura para facilitar la penetración en
el material. Para la entalladura puede tratarse especialmente de una
entalladura de cuchilla o de otra entalladura que es menos costosa
en la fabricación que la entalladura de sierra.
Según una realización el extremo clavable de la
varilla está punzonado. Mediante punzonado puede tronzarse en un
mecanizado único la varilla de un material continuo y puede
proveerse en el extremo clavable con una entalladura. También esto
beneficia la productividad.
Según una realización el medio de fijación es
una grapa con una base y dos brazos de los que al menos un brazo
está realizado como varilla, es decir, presenta al menos una zona de
varilla con sección transversal irregularmente debilitada frente a
las secciones transversales de ambas zonas de varilla adyacentes.
Ambos brazos de las grapas son realizados preferiblemente en la
forma descrita como varillas para que ambos brazos contribuyan al
aumento de la resistencia de desenclavado o adopten un recorrido
deseado en un material.
En una grapa los debilitamientos de la sección
transversal y/o de los acodamientos pueden estar dispuestos en
caras diferentes de brazos diferentes. Según una realización los
debilitamientos y/o acodamientos están presentes en caras opuestas
de ambos brazos para desviar a éstos en dirección opuesta. Según
otra realización los debilitamientos y/o acodamientos están
presentes en caras opuestas unas a otras para conducir los brazos
unos hacia otros. Finalmente, según una realización los
debilitamientos y/o acodamientos están presentes en caras paralelas
para conducir ambos brazos en la misma dirección. Por ultimo, es
interesante, por ejemplo, para una fijación de listones de vidrio,
como se describe en el documento DE 93 07 232 U1.
Según otra realización el medio de fijación es
un clavo (por ejemplo, clavo de gota de sebo, clavo en T o clavo de
cabeza perdida) o un perno. La desviación de la varilla del eje de
clavado es ventajosa también en muchas aplicaciones de clavos y
pernos.
Según una realización el medio de fijación
presenta una pluralidad de grapas, clavos o pernos agrupados en una
barra. El agrupamiento en una barra ofrece otras ventajas respecto a
la producción y el empleo, especialmente el trabajo con aparatos de
clavar, que presentan cargadores para la recepción de barras. Según
otra realización las grapas, clavos o pernos de barra están unidos
mediante un adhesivo.
Respecto al procedimiento se resuelve el
objetivo mediante un procedimiento con las características de la
reivindicación 16. Realizaciones ventajosas del procedimiento son
dadas en las reivindicaciones secundarias.
El procedimiento según la invención para la
fabricación de un medio de fijación comprende los siguientes
pasos:

- se prepara un material en banda que comprende alambres paralelos, dirigidos en el sentido de marcha del material en banda,
- -
- el material en banda se divide en placas transversalmente respecto al sentido de marcha y
- -
- el material en banda o las placas se proveen en al menos una cara de debilitamientos de la sección transversal que discurren transversalmente sobre los alambres o los segmentos de alambre y
- -
- el material en banda o las placas se proveen de al menos un acodamiento que discurre transversalmente respecto a los alambres o los segmentos de alambre.
En el material en banda están agrupados ya lo
alambres dirigidos en el sentido de marcha, preferiblemente
mediante pegado. Las barras pueden fabricarse entonces mediante un
fácil corte a medida del material en banda transversalmente
respecto a su sentido de marcha. Las placas que se originan en ello
pueden usarse, por ejemplo, directamente como barras que comprenden
pernos o clavos. Antes o después de la separación del material en
banda en placas se introducen en al menos una cara debilitamientos
de la sección transversal que discurren sobre los alambres del
material en banda o los segmentos de alambre de las placas.
Adicionalmente, o en lugar de éstos, el material en banda está
provisto o las placas están provistas de al menos un acodamiento que
discurre transversalmente respecto a los alambres o las secciones
de alambre. Ya que los debilitamientos y/o acodamientos se
introducen al mismo tiempo en una pluralidad de alambres o segmentos
de alambre, se consigue otra simplificación y aumento de la
velocidad del proceso de producción.
Según una realización las placas se doblan
formando una barra con forma de U de una pluralidad de grapas
dispuestas paralelamente, con forma de U, de las cuales cada una
consiste en un segmento de alambre. Mediante otro sencillo paso, que
se refiere a una pluralidad de segmentos de alambre y grapas, se
concluye así una barra de grapas.
Según otra realización las placas se separan en
un procedimiento de punzonado del material en banda. El
procedimiento de punzonado, que trabaja con corte dirigido
opuestamente, es poco apropiado para la fabricación de entalladuras
de sierra fuertemente inclinadas, pero perfectamente para la
fabricación de entalladuras con un ángulo de inclinación
proporcionalmente reducido, que mejoran la penetración del material.
Además, el procedimiento de punzonado es ventajoso para velocidades
de producción especialmente elevadas.
Según una realización los debilitamientos de
sección transversal se estampan y/o se realizan los acodamientos
mediante doblado. Los debilitamientos de sección transversal y los
acodamientos pueden realizarse en un único paso de trabajo en el
que el dispositivo de estampación provoca tanto los debilitamientos
de la sección transversal como también los doblados del material en
banda o las placas. Preferiblemente se efectúa esto al mismo tiempo
con el corte a medida del material en banda en placas en las mismas
punzonadoras o dispositivos de estampación.
Según otra realización, en cada placa se
introducen dos debilitamientos que discurren paralelamente y/o
acodamientos de la sección transversal para producir grapas que
presentan dos brazos que discurren lateralmente.
Finalmente, según una realización los
debilitamientos de sección transversal y/o acodamientos se practican
cerca de al menos un extremo de las secciones de alambre de las
placas para obtener un desvío a ser posible elevado de la
varilla.
La invención se explica detalladamente a
continuación mediante los dibujos adjuntos de un ejemplo de
realización. En los dibujos muestran:
Fig. 1 una grapa en una vista lateral
ampliada;
Fig. 2 la misma grapa en una sección
transversal ampliada por la línea A-A de la
fig. 1;
Fig. 3 detalle X ampliado de la fig. 1;
Fig. 4 una barra de grapas constituida por
grapas según la fig. 1 a 3 en vista lateral;
Fig. 5 la misma barra de grapas en una vista en
planta.
Según la fig. 1 a 3 una grapa 1 tiene una base 2
con dos varillas o brazos 3', 3'' salientes de ahí paralelamente,
esencialmente rectos.
En el ejemplo la base 2 tiene un radio de
curvatura r para fijar alambre sobre madera en el ámbito de un uso
especial. En el ámbito de otros usos la base 2 también puede estar
realizada de otra forma, especialmente linealmente.
Según la fig. 2 las grapas 1 están dobladas de
un alambre plano.
Los brazos 3', 3'' tienen en sus extremos libres
4', 4'' una respectiva entalladura de cuchilla que es simétrica y
presenta un ángulo de cuchilla \beta.
Además, los brazos 3', 3'' tienen en las caras
exteriores opuestas unas a otras muescas 5', 5'' que esencialmente
son en forma de V y se abren hacia fuera. La anchura del orificio p
corresponde aproximadamente a la longitud de los brazos de las
muescas 5', 5''.
Las entalladuras 5', 5'' se encuentra a una
distancia S1 de los extremos 4', 4'', dicho más exactamente, de las
puntas de las entalladuras de cuchilla. Los brazos 3', 3'' tienen
allí una zona de varilla 6', 6'' con sección transversal reducida
frente a las zonas de varilla 7', 8', 7'', 8'' colindantes.
Además, los segmentos de brazos 3', 3'' están
acodados ligeramente un ángulo \alpha hacia fuera en los extremos
4', 4'' hasta las entalladuras 5', 5''. Los acodamientos están
designados con las cifras de referencia 8', 8''. Un ejemplo de
realización presenta los siguientes datos:
- Grosor del alambre laminado a = 1,44 mm
- Anchura del alambre laminado b = 1,57 mm
- Radio de curvatura r = 3,225 mm
- Altura del punzonado S1 = 2,5 mm
- Ángulo de cuchilla \beta = 90º
- Ángulo de curvatura del acodamiento \alpha = 1º
- Anchura del punzonado p = 0,6 mm
- Altura de grapa S = 19 mm
- Anchura posterior exterior B1 = 9,3 mm
- Anchura posterior interior B2 = 6,45 mm
Al clavarse las grapas 1, los brazos 3', 3'' se
desvían hacia fuera en el plano de proyección a causa de las muescas
5', 5'' auxiliadas por los acodamientos 8', 8'' cerca del
extremo.
Por ello, la resistencia de desenclavado se
aumenta fuertemente.
Según las fig. 4 y 5 están reunidas una
pluralidad de grapas 1 en una barra 9. Se unen mediante un adhesivo
de forma que un dispositivo de clavado puede cortar grapas 1
individuales de la barra para clavar éstas en un material.
En el ejemplo están unidas setenta grapas 1 en
una barra 9 con una longitud L de aproximadamente 74 mm.
Claims (21)
1. Medio de fijación con al menos una varilla
(3) con un extremo (4) que puede clavarse en un material y al menos
una región de varilla con sección transversal irregularmente
debilitada frente a las secciones transversales de ambas zonas de
varilla adyacentes, caracterizado porque la varilla presenta
un acodamiento (8).
2. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación 1
en el que la sección transversal irregularmente debilitada es una
sección transversal reducida frente a las secciones transversales de
ambas zonas de varilla adyacentes.
3. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación 2,
en el que la sección transversal está reducida mediante una muesca
(5) en sólo una cara del vástago (3).
4. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 3 en el que el acodamiento (8) presenta un
ángulo (\alpha) de 1º a 7º.
5. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación 4
en el que el acodamiento (8) presenta un ángulo (\alpha) de 3º a
5º.
6. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 5 en el que el acodamiento (8) parte de la zona
de varilla (6) con una sección transversal irregularmente
reducida.
7. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 6 en el que la zona de varilla (6) está
realizada con sección transversal irregularmente debilitada y/o el
acodamiento (8) cerca del final (4) clavable de la varilla (3).
8. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 7 en el que el extremo (4) clavable de la
varilla presenta una entalladura.
9. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 8 en el que el extremo (4) clavable de la
varilla (3) está punzonado.
10. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 9 que presenta al menos una grapa (1) con una
base (2) y dos brazos (3) de los que al menos un brazo (3) esta
realizado como varilla.
11. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación
10 en el que cada brazo (3) está realizado como varilla.
12. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación
11 en el que cada brazo (3) presenta en las caras opuestas o
enfrentadas o paralelas un debilitamiento (5) de la sección
transversal y/o un acodamiento (8).
13. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 9 que es un clavo o un perno.
14. Medio de fijación según una de las
reivindicaciones 10 a 13 que presenta una pluralidad de grapas (1),
clavos o pernos agrupados en una barra (9).
15. Medio de fijación según la reivindicación
14 en el que las grapas (1), clavos o pernos de la barra (9) están
unidos por un adhesivo.
16. Procedimiento para fabricar un medio de
fijación según una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 15 en el que

- se prepara un material en banda que comprende alambres paralelos, dirigidos en el sentido de marcha del material en banda,
- -
- el material en banda se divide en placas transversalmente respecto al sentido de marcha y
- -
- el material en banda o las placas se proveen en al menos una cara de debilitamientos de la sección transversal que discurren transversalmente sobre los alambres o los segmentos de alambre y
- -
- el material en banda o las placas se proveen de al menos un acodamiento (8) que discurre transversalmente respecto a los alambres o los segmentos de alambre.
17. Procedimiento según la reivindicación 16 en
el que las placas se doblan formando una barra con forma de U (6)
constituida por una pluralidad de grapas (1) en forma de U,
dispuestas paralelamente de las que cada una consiste en un
segmento de alambre.

acodamientos (8) de la sección transversal se practican cerca de al
menos un extremo de los segmentos de alambre de las placas.
