Abstract

Composition for waterproofing and/or soundproofing surfaces and process for applying the said composition. The composition comprises an anionic waterproofing emulsion and cationic waterproofing emulsion. The process consists of applying an anionic waterproofing emulsion and a cationic waterproofing emulsion simultaneously to the surface which has to be waterproofed and/or soundproofed. When an anionic emulsion mixes with a cationic emulsion the mixture coagulates without the need for any breaker or coagulant, reducing the quantity of excess water.
