Abstract

Heat exchange device for catheters. The device has means for heat exchange and comprises: an external tube 1 for the passage of a first liquid, which accommodates at least one internal tube 2 for transfer of the second liquid, a space 3 divided into a first and a second channel 4, 5 by partitions 6 a stopper 7 placed at the first end 1a of the external tube 1 and second means of closure 8, the bottom of which is in direct contact with the second end 1b of the external tube 1 the internal tube 2 penetrating through the stopper 7 and through the second means of closure 8 an inlet for the first liquid into the first channel 4 and an outlet for the first liquid from the second channel 5, these being arranged laterally in a section near the second end 1b of the external tube 1 and a chamber 9 to direct the first liquid from the first channel 4 to the second channel 5, this chamber being defined between the bottom of the stopper 7 and the first ends 6a of the partitions 6.
