Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a small vehicle in which cooling air created by a cooling fan connected directly to a crankshaft can be smoothly guided to the cylinder and cylinder head of an internal combustion engine and to the body of which a swing power unit can be compactly attached. CONSTITUTION:A pair of right and left hangers 7 located above the crankcase portion of an air-cooled internal combustion engine 3 is attached to a bracket 9 via a link 10 in such a way as to freely oscillate in the vertical direction, the bracket 9 projecting downward from the rear frame 8 of a scooter type motorcycle 1 the upper half of a cooling air passage 32 inside a fan cover 18 is in the form of a spiral that goes from the rear to the front via the upper part and away from the center of a crankshaft.
