Abstract

The present invention relates to a new fabric intended to be used in a superimposed multilayer matress, mounted floating in a security garment for stopping the penetration of cutting tools of the gouge chain type. The fabric according to the invention is essentially characterized in that it is made with synthetic material warp (1) and weft (2) yarns and in that a certain number of the warp yarns are made of synthetic fibers (3) having a traction resistance coefficient higher than the traction resistance coefficient of other warp and weft yarns so as to contribute to the removal of successive fabric layers which will block the chain at its drive gear.
