LA INVENCION TRATA DE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA OBTENER LIGANTES DE PINTURAS DILUIBLES EN AGUA A BASE DE COPOLIMEROS DE ACRILATO, QUE SE OBTIENEN POR REACCION DE UN COMPONENTE POLICARBOXILICO CON UN COMPONENTE POLIHIDROXILICO QUE TIENE GRUPOS EPOXIDO, SEGUIDO DE UNA NEUTRALIZACION, AL MENOS PARCIAL, DE LOS GRUPOS CARBOXILO. COMO MONOMEROS QUE CONTIENEN GRUPOS EPOXIDO PARA EL COMPONENTE POLIHIDROXILICO SE UTILIZAN GLICIDIL(MET)ACRILATO Y/O GLICIDILALILETER EN PROPORCIONES DE 0,1 A 3 % EN PESO. ESTOS LIGANTES DE PINTURAS SON MUY APROPIADOS, EN COMBINACION CON RETICULANTES Y OPCIONALMENTE CON OTROS LIGANTES, PARA FORMAR PINTURAS DILUIBLES EN AGUA QUE SE PUEDAN METER EN EL HORNO CON UN BAJO CONTENIDO EN DISOLVENTES ORGANICOS AUXILIARES.
