EL INTERRUPTOR DE PROTECCION DE CORRIENTE DE FALLO CON SUPERVISION AUTOMATICA DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION REPRESENTA UN INTERRUPTOR, QUE RECONOCE UN DEFECTO QUE SE INICIA DE FORMA PRECOZ, PARA PODER CAMBIAR EL INTERRUPTOR AUN EN EL TIEMPO ADECUADO. ESTO SE ASEGURA DE TAL MODO, QUE CON LA AYUDA DE UN TRANSMISOR DE CORRIENTE Y UN SENSOR DE CORRIENTE SE ACUMULA SU VALOR DE REACCION DE CORRIENTE DE FALLO Y SE MIDE EN UNA DISTANCIA DE TIEMPO PREVIAMENTE DADA. A PARTIR DEL AUMENTO TEMPORAL DEL VALOR DE REACCION SE EXTRAPOLA EL VALOR DE REACCION TEORICO Y CON ELLO SE DETERMINA EL PUNTO DEL TIEMPO, QUE APARECE EN EL INTERRUPTOR.
