Abstract

It comprises the physical and/or chemical treatment of the particles of sand with a view to their reuse, by means of the following operations: selection of the sands by means of visual and granulometric identification, screening of the material with a view to delimiting batches on the basis of the respective particles sizes, drying of the material with a view to removing at least a portion of its moisture content, and packaging of the sands in containers sealed against liquids and the air, with simultaneous removal of the air. Applicable to the conditioning of sands used in prior treatments with a view to their use in the preparation of mortars.
