Reactor de lecho fluidizado denso y procedimiento de funcionamiento de tal reactor. El reactor comprende una cámara de reacción que tiene una parte superior cónica y en la cual se inyecta aire secundario prácticamente de forma tangencial en correspondencia con la zona de desprendimiento de las partículas del lecho denso. En el procedimiento la inyección tangencial de aire secundario se realiza con una gran cantidad de movimiento y con una proporción del orden de 20 a 40 % del aire total inyectado en la cámara de reacción.
