Abstract

The lid 1 has a skirt 3 and the seat 2 has a continuous groove 5. The lid forms a practically sealed chamber which includes a pipe 6 with holes for supplying a cleaning liquid coming from an external tank and a second pipe 8 which supplies hot air for drying the surface of the seat once this has been cleaned. The invention is applicable to the cleaning of a lavatory, which cleaning process is initiated automatically when the lid is lowered.
