Abstract

Water-soluble norfloxacin adduct. Addition product comprising an adduct of ascorbic acid and norfloxacin which product is prepared by reacting at least one mole of ascorbic acid for each mole of norfloxacin in the presence of an appropriate solvent such as water, alcohol or a water/alcohol mixture. Pharmaceutical compositions and aqueous solutions containing the said adduct can be used for medical or veterinary purposes.
