Abstract

LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA REDUCIR EL CONTENIDO DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO EN AGENTES HIDROFOBICOS REACTIVOS A LA CELULOSA, ASI COMO AL USO DE LOS PRODUCTOS OBTENIDOS. DE ACUERDO CON ESTE METODO, EL DISOLVENTE SE TRANSFIERE DESDE EL AGENTE HIDROFOBICO A UNA FASE ACUOSA MEDIANTE LA DISPERSION DEL AGENTE HIDROFOBICO EN AGUA. LA DISPERSION ACUOSA SE PONE DESPUES EN CONTACTO CON UN SORBENTE O UN GAS, CON LO QUE EL DISOLVENTE SE TRANSFIERE DESDE LA FASE ACUOSA AL SORBENTE O AL GAS. DE FORMA ADECUADA, EL AGENTE HIDROFOBICO ES UN DIMERO DE KETENO DE ALQUILO, PARA CUYA PREPARACION SE UTILIZA GENERALMENTE TOLUENO. DE FORMA ADECUADA, EL SORBENTE ES UN ZEOLITO QUE PUEDE EXTRAERSE DE LA DISPERSION ANTES DE QUE SE UTILICE EN LA FABRICACION DE PAPEL, EN ESPECIAL PARA LA HIDROFOBACION DEL PAPEL. DE FORMA ALTERNATIVA, EL ZEOLITO PUEDE MANTENERSE EN LA DISPERSION, DEBIDO A QUE EL DISOLVENTE SE ABSORBE FUERTEMENTE EN LA SUPERFICIE DEL ZEOLITO, POR MEDIO DE LO CUAL SOLO PUEDEN EXISTIR EN FORMA LIBRE CANTIDADES MUY PEQUEÑAS DE DISOLVENTE.
