Abstract

Process which comprises cleaning oxides from the surface or surfaces to be welded of the piece of lead, applying to the clean surfaces a substance based on rosin (colophony) and an organic solvent, and then drying the substance applied in order to form a laminar layer which protects against the formation of oxides and which also serves as flux (welding compound).
