SE PRESENTA UN METODO PARA LA SEPARACION DE GIBERELINAS A PARTIR DE MEZCLAS DE LAS MISMAS MEDIANTE SILILACION O DESILILACION SELECTIVA, ASI COMO GIBERELINAS SUBSTANCIALMENTE PURAS PREPARADAS MEDIANTE EL METODO. POR EJEMPLO, SE AÑADIO IMIDAZOLA A UNA SOLUCION DE UNA MEZCLA DE GA4 Y GA7 DE DMF. DESPUES DE QUE LA IMIDAZOLA SE DISOLVIO COMPLETAMENTE, SE AÑADIO CLORURO DE DIMETILSILIL. DESPUES DE DOS DIAS DE AGITACION, SE AÑADIO ACIDO ACETICO QUE PRECIPITO UN SOLIDO BLANCO (ETER DE SILIL DE GA7). DESPUES DEL FILTRADO SE RECUPERO GA4 A PARTIR DE LA SUBSTANCIA FILTRADA. LA DESILILACION DEL ETER DE SILIL DE GA7 PRODUJO GA7.
