SE DESCRIBE UN NUEVO PROCEDIMIENTO DE SINTESIS DE POLIARILCETONAS, CON GRUPOS NAFTALENO, EN FORMA DE PARTICULAS. EL METODO OFRECE DOS ALTERNATIVAS: A) UNA POLICONDENSACION ELECTROFILA FRIEDEL-CRAFTS DEL DI-CLORURO DE ACIDO CARBOXILICO DE NAFTALENO CON COMPUESTOS AROMATICOS CON UN HIDROGENO ACTIVADO (UN HIDROGENO SUSTITUIBLE EN CONDICIONES DE REACCION ELECTROFILA), B) UNA POLICONDENSACION DE LOS CLORUROS DE ANHIDRIDO DE HIDROCARBUROS QUE CONTIENEN NAFTALENO. LA POLICONDENSACION ELECTROFILA SE REALIZA EN PRESENCIA DE ALCL3 COMO CATALIZADOR USANDO DISOLVENTES CLORADOS DE TIPO AROMATICO O ALIFATICO. DURANTE LA POLICONDENSACION TIENE LUGAR UNA DISPERSION DEL COMPLEJO POLIMERO-CATALIZADOR EN EL DISOLVENTE. DICHO COMPLEJO SE SEPARA DEL MEDIO DE REACCION MEDIANTE FILTRACION Y TRAS UN LAVADO DEL PRECIPITADO CON ALCOHOL Y ACETONA Y POSTERIOR SECADO SE OBTIENEN DIRECTAMENTE LAS PARTICULAS DEL POLIMERO (PURO).
