ESTOS MICROORGANISMOS SE PUEDEN CULTIVAR PER SE O SE PUEDEN UTILIZAR COMO FUENTES DE INFORMACION GENETICA CON LAS QUE ELABORAR OTROS MICROORGANISMOS CON EL FIN DE PRODUCIR ENZIMAS. DE ESTE MODO, SE PUEDEN PRODUCIR CANTIDADES COMERCIALMENTE UTILES DE HEMICELULASA ORIGINAL O RECOMBINANTE CON CULTIVOS FORMADOS ESENCIALMENTE POR MICROORGANISMOS QUE PRODUCEN EL ENZIMA.
