Abstract

The platform is intended for working coupled to the free end of a boom (jib) mounted on a vehicle, it being possible to rotate the boom about a vertical axis and about a horizontal axis through the actuation of a pressurized-fluid set, the platform having at least one manoeuvring area for allowing space for one or more operators and being limited at the sides by a guardrail. The platform also includes a coffin-support zone, the support zone corresponding with a gap in the guardrail, in such a manner that the coffin can be loaded onto the platform and conveyed to the outside of the platform via said gap. Applicable to the mechanization of burial operations, for improving performance levels of known apparatus for this mechanized system.
