SU FUNCIONAMIENTO SE BASA EN EL PROCESO DE AIREACION PROLONGADA, MEDIANTE PROCEDIMIENTOS BIOLOGICOS CON FANGOS ACTIVADOS A BAJA CARGA, QUE AJUSTA EL CONSUMO DE ENERGIA A LA POBLACION ESTACIONAL. INCLUYE LAS SIGUIENTES FASES: A) EL AGUA A TRATAR SE RECIBE EN UNA ARQUETA QUE LA DISTRIBUYE A LAS DEPURADORAS EXISTENTES, TENIENDO ADEMAS UNA TUBERIA DE DESVIO ALTERNATIVO HACIA LA ARQUETA RECEPTORA DE AGUA TRATADA Y CLORACION FINAL. B) AIREACION PARA PRODUCIR LA REDUCCION DE LAS MATERIAS ORGANICAS POR LAS BACTERIAS PRESENTES. C) CLASIFICACION, SEPARANDOSE LOS FANGOS DEL AGUA LIMPIA EN UN DECANTADOR. D) CLORACION MEDIANTE UNA SOLUCION DE HIPOCLORITO SODICO.INDUSTRIAL WATER TREATMENT. THEIR OPERATION IS BASED ON THE PROLONGED AERATION PROCESS, THROUGH BIOLOGICAL PROCEDURES WITH MUDS ACTIVATED AT LOW LOAD, WHICH ADJUSTS THE CONSUMPTION OF ENERGY TO THE SEASONAL POPULATION. IT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING PHASES: A) THE WATER TO BE TREATED IS RECEIVED IN A DRAIN THAT DISTRIBUTES IT TO THE EXISTING SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS, ALSO HAVING AN ALTERNATIVE DIVERY PIPE TOWARD THE TREATED WATER RECEIVING ARCHETTE. B) AERATION TO PRODUCE THE REDUCTION OF ORGANIC MATERIALS BY THE PRESENT BACTERIA. C) CLASSIFICATION, SEPARATING THE MUDS FROM CLEAN WATER IN A DECANTER. D) CHLORINATION THROUGH A SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE SOLUTION.
