EL PROCESO SUMINISTRA UNA PURIFICACION ESENCIALMENTE DE UN SOLO PASO SIN PROBLEMAS PARA HACER DESAPARECER LOS DESECHOS O SIN REQUERIR UNA GRAN INVERSION DE CAPITAL. LA RECUPERACION PUEDE MEJORARSE ADICIONALMENTE TRATANDO EL LICOR MADRE QUE QUEDA DESPUES DE LA SEPARACION DE LOS CRISTALES DE ACIDO CITRICO PARA OBTENER UN RENDIMIENTO ADICIONAL. EL ACIDO FUERTE MAS ADECUADO ES EL ACIDO SULFURICO Y EL TRATAMIENTO DEL LICOR MADRE PREFERIDO ES UNA COLUMNA DE RESINA DE EXCLUSION DE IONES.
