Abstract
A process for the benefit of mixed minerals containing langbeinite and sylvinite which comprises grinding the ore to release the constituent particles preparing a pulp with the ore particles in a high density brine in which the particles of the ore are substantially insoluble to subject said pulp to a shaking operation and collect a concentrate containing langbeinite and a fraction enriched in silvite.
