LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA BLANQUEAR PULPA CELULOSICA Y LIGNOCELULOSICA CON PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO COMO REACTIVO DE BLANQUEO QUE CONSTA DE UNA REACCION DE DOS PASOS: UN PASO CORTO A ALTA TEMPERATURA Y A UNA PRESION SUFICIENTE COMO PARA SUPRIMIR LA EBULLICION Y UN PASO MAS LARGO A TEMPERATURA REDUCIDA Y A PRESION ATMOSFERICA SUFICIENTE COMO PARA CONSUMIR UNA PARTE IMPORTANTE DEL PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO QUE QUEDA TRAS LA FASE CORTA. EL METODO INCLUYE LOS PASOS DE: INTRODUCIR LA PULPA (15) CON UNA CONSISTENCIA DEL 10 % AL 18 %, EN UN MEZCLADOR (100) EN DONDE LA PULPA ES CALENTADA A UNA TEMPERATURA POR ENCIMA DE 100 (GRADOS) C; AÑADIR SUFICIENTE HIDROXIDO DE SODIO PARA LLEVAR A LA PULPA A UN PH DE 8,5; AÑADIR SUFICIENTE PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO (36) PARA IGUALAR ENTRE APROXIMADAMENTE EL 0,5 % AL 5,0 % EN PESO DE PULPA; PASAR LA PULPA A TRAVES DE UNA COLUMNA DE REACTOR A PRESION (400) A UNA VELOCIDAD QUE PERMITA UN TIEMPO DE REACCION EN LA COLUMNA DE ENTRE 1 Y 30 MINUTOS; DEPOSITAR LA PULPA EN UNA TORRE DE REACCION Y DEJAR QUE PROSIGA LA REACCION DURANTE 1-5 HORAS HASTA QUE SE HAYA CONSUMIDO UNA PARTE IMPORTANTE DEL PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO RESIDUAL.
