EL OBJETIVO DE LA INVENCION ES UN ALARGAMIENTO SELECCIONADO DE LA ESPECIE TRICODERMA DISPONIENDO DE UNA ACTIVIDAD INHIBIDORA CONTRA UN LARGO ESPECTRO DE HONGOS LIGNOPATOGENICOS Y CITOPATOGENICOS, EL DESARROLLO DE UN FUNGICIDA Y UN PROCESO PARA SU UTILIZACION. GRACIAS A LA SELECCION DE TRES NUEVOS ALARGAMIENTOS DEL TRICODERMA: TRICODERMA SP. LC1, LC2 Y LC3, SE HAN SELECCIONADO HONGOS QUE INHIBEN TOTALMENTE LOS MAS IMPORTANTES DESTRUCTORES DE LA MADERA DE ACUERDO CON EN 113. ADICIONALMENTE, INHIBEN IMPORTANTES HONGOS CITOPATOGENICOS. SE APLICA UN FUNGICIDA BASADO EN LA UTILIZACION DE LOS TRES ALARGAMIENTOS DEL TRICODERMA MEDIANTE ROCIADO, INMERSION O EN UNA FORMA INMOVILIZADA. CUANDO SE APLICA SOBRE MADERA, ES TAMBIEN PARTE DE LA INVENCION UNA FASE DE INCUBACION.
