Abstract

Se trata de un implante cilíndrico o de lámina rectangular, con una microplaca de osteosíntesis maleable para poderla adaptar a la cortical interna y externa a nivel maxilar o mandibular. Dicho implante se compone de dos elementos: 1) Cilíndrico o lámina (C) , con tres partes: a) cabeza (A) de forma exagonal con pequeñas ranuras (R) que permiten la adaptación del muñón protético evitando la rotación; b) cuerpo (U) cilindro o lámina de diámetro y longitud variable, y c) extremidad (E) que tiene también pequeñas hendiduras (H) para una mejor adaptación ósea. 2) Microplaca de osteosíntesis (P) con 2 ó 4 agujeros. Esta placa se adapta al hueso subyacente (S) fijándose mediante 2 ó 4 tornillos a las corticales externas y internas (L). Ambos elementos son de titanio unidos por soldadura láser. A este implante se le acopla un elemento de fijación (R) roscado, para la colocación de la prótesis.
