Abstract

Se proporciona un procedimiento para producir policarbonato diseñado para mejorar la calidad del policarbonato como producto de polimerización y reduce los costes de inversión y operación. Se produce el policarbonato en los reactores cilíndricos horizontales con agitación provistos con paletas de agitación extendidas sucesivamente por el tanque y parcialmente con paletas de agitación que tienen función de tornillo, unidas horizontalmente juntas en series sin ningún eje central de agitación, siendo el reactor primario de agitación un reactor de agitación horizontal uniaxial cuyas paletas de agitación rotan a baja velocidad entre 1 y 10 rpm, mientras se mantiene una holgura entre la pared interna del tanque y las paletas de agitación en un intervalo de 1 a 50 mm y el reactor de agitación secundario es un reactor de agitación horizontal biaxial con paletas de agitación provistas horizontalmente y en paralelo, sin ningún eje central de rotación, que dirige el tratamiento por agitación a una baja velocidad, en el intervalo entre 1 y 15 rpm.
