Abstract

Proceso y aparato para permitir la gasificación autotérmica de combustibles sólidos. El invento se refiere a un procedimiento de gasificación autotérmica de combustibles sólidos. Este procedimiento se efectúa bajo exceso de presión con un gas que contiene O2, donde los combustibles se someten a un pretratamiento térmico por contacto directo con un flujo de gas de humo caliente con separación del gas y de los vapores y formación de un producto intermedio frágil y donde este flujo se produce en una combustión en presencia de los gases y vapores de pretratamiento, donde el producto intermedio se somete, finamente dividido, a la gasificación formando un gas de síntesis rico en H2 y CO. El combustible se utiliza en forma finamente dividida, el pretratamiento se efectúa como pirólisis a una temperatura final de por lo menos 450°C, la gasificación tiene lugar en presencia de vapor de agua y se suprime del flujo de gas de humo caliente, antes de su introducción en el pretratamiento térmico, del calor para producir la mezcla de vapor y gas conteniendo O2 requerido para la gasificación. El invento se aplica principalmente en el campo de los gases de síntesis.
