Abstract
La invención se refiere a un dispositivo para el reconocimiento simultáneo , por máquina, de Q marcas ópticas de difracciones (11) diferentes de un elemento de seguridad (4), que comprende una fuente luminosa (1) que sirve para proyectar una luz paralela (10) sobre un documento (3) provisto de dicho elemento de seguridad (4), un elemento colector óptico (2), fotodetectores (5,6) que sirven para convertir la luz (15m 16) difractada eb las marcas (11) o bien la radiación reflejada en el sustrato (3) en señales eléctricas, así como una unidad de evaluación que sirve para evaluar las señales. Los fotodetectores (5, 6) están dispuestos en el plano focal (8'') del elemento colector óptico (2). Dos fotodetectores (5, 6) constituyen cada vez un par de fotodetectores. Las señales eléctricas de cada par de fotodetectores se analizan y los resultados obtenidos mediante señales de todos los pares de fotodetectores se comparan con valores de referencia, en la unidad de evaluación. Todas las marcas ópticas (11) son leídas simultáneamente y forman un código que sirve para la identificación del elemento de seguridad (4).
