Abstract

Un soporte ortopédico para apoyar cómodamente una parte de la anatomía de un usuario, que incluye: - una carcasa exterior (112) conformada para encajar alrededor de la parte de la anatomía del usuario; - y una almohadilla moldeada (110) pegada a dicha carcasa; en el que dicha almohadilla tiene una superficie y varias estructuras moldeadas prácticamente huecas (152, 154, 156, 158, 160); que se caracteriza porque: la superficie de la almohadilla y las estructuras moldeadas (152, 154, 156, 158, 160) se conforman en una sola operación y en un único material; dichas estructuras moldeadas se prolongan desde la superficie e incluyen paredes que proporcionan soporte acolchado para la parte de la anatomía sin aire presurizado, líquido o gel; y al menos algunas de dichas estructuras tienen dimensiones diferentes a las otras para proporcionar diferentes niveles de soporte acolchado localizado para el usuario del soporte ortopédico en diferentes zonas de la almohadilla.
