Abstract

La máquina (1) incluye una estructura (2) de túnel que define una cámara (8) con paredes laterales longitudinales (9) inclinadas convergentes hacia abajo, y en la que un transportador sustancialmente horizontal (10) para transportar un flujo en capas de tabaco desmenuzado (T) desde el extremo de entrada (6) hasta el extremo de salida (7) de la cámara (8), se extiende adyacente a los bordes inferiores (9b) de las paredes laterales (9) convergentes. Se prevé un sistema de ventilación (16-25) en esta última, con un colector de distribución (16) que se extiende por encima del transportador (10), una agrupación de tubos verticales (17) que se extienden desde el colector de distribución (16) hasta una distancia predeterminada del transportador (10), entre los bordes inferiores (9a) de las paredes laterales (9) convergentes, un colector de retorno (18) que comunica con regiones laterales de la cámara (8) situadas a los lados de la agrupación de tubos (17) y por encima de las paredes laterales (9)convergentes, y un aparato (20-25) de acondicionamiento y reciclado de aire, interpuesto entre la salida (23) del colector de retorno (18) y el colector de distribución (16), para inducir un flujo de aire acondicionado a través de los tubos (17) hacia el transportador (10), de tal modo que el aire que abandona los tubos (17) cree un lecho de aire por encima del transportador (10) para fluidificar el flujo en capas de tabaco (T).
