Abstract

System for deployment of contention barriers in loading and unloading installations of petroleum ships and similar vessels.Starting from the use of any type of conventional barrier for the contention of discharges, the system of the invention is based on the incorporation of two physically independent sectors (4 - 4') that, connected through one of their ends to the breakwater (5) of the port, are fixed by the other end to the hull (1) of the ship, so that the hull itself collaborates in the delimiting of the area of possible discharges (13). To do so, each barrier sector itself (4 - 4') incorporates at its ship hull (1) adaptation end, a buoy (7) assisted by support watertight integrity joint (10) on the hull the buoy is attached to a tilting arm (8) that is jointed to any fixed point of the port using a patellar joint (9) that allows the arm to move vertically to adjust to the buoy (7) at water level, and maintain said buoy adapted to the hull of the ship, during the movement of the latter, using an appropriate traction resource (11) that maintains the watertight integrity joint (10) pressed against the surface of the hull, with the possibility of relative sliding.
