Abstract

Machine for decorating ceramic pieces.The machine is designed to transfer a bulk product (such as sand, seeds, or similar elements) to the surface of a ceramic piece, producing on said piece a relief that will form the desired decorative design. The transfer of the bulk product to the ceramic piece is done from the low relieves (2) created for this purpose in the side surface of a rotating cylinder (1) that rotates in synchronisation with the movement of the translation of a transporting belt (4) that drags the ceramic piece (3) to be decorated, the low relieves (2) receive from the cylinder (1) the bulk product from a measuring device (8), which deposits it, after the 180 degree rotation of said cylinder (1), on the ceramic piece (3), the product is maintained in the low relieves (2) using a laminate (9) that is correctly fixed and pressed using a series of rollers (11) against the side surface of the cylinder (1).
