Abstract

Production pyridine derivatives, for treatment of hypertension, comprises: (1) reaction of an alkyl 2-methylidene acetoacetate with an alkyl 3-amino crotonate adsorbed on a porous solid surface and (2) dissolving the mixture in an organic solvent which is then evaporated for purification of substituted 1,4-dihydro pyridines.
