Abstract

Una planta de horno para producción de cemento, estando compuesta dicha planta por un horno (1), un refrigerador (4), un calcinador (2) con subsiguiente separador de ciclón (9), un compartimento de combustión(3)provisto en su parte superior de un quemador central (16) y que incorpora por debajo del quemador una entrada tangencial a través de la cual se alimenta gas caliente, por medio de un conducto (5), del refrigerador (4) al compartimento de combustión (3), estando dicho conducto (5) provisto de una entrada (14A) para materia prima molida, estando la parte inferior del compartimento de combustión (3) provista de una conexión (7) con el calcinador (2), y dirigiendo una segunda conexión (6) los gases de escape del horno (1) al calcinador (2), caracterizada porque la altura, h1-h2, de la parte superior del volumen interior del compartimento de combustión (3), entre el extremo del quemador y el borde superior de la entrada tangencial, que es el punto más alto de entrada de gas caliente procedente del refrigerador, es al menos 1/3D, donde D es el diámetro de un cilindro que tiene una altura h1-h2 y el mismo volumen que la parte superior del volumen interior del compartimento de combustión; y porque es al menos D la altura de la parte inferior del volumen interior del compartimento de combustión, h3-h4, queestá situada entre el borde inferior de la entrada tangencial, que es el punto más bajo de entrada de gas caliente procedente del refrigerador, y la salida del compartimento de combustión (3).
