Abstract

Transfer with pincers positioning in a multi-step press. The transfer system with pincers (4) for grabbing the metal plates (3) to be built, is provided with a feeder device (2) in "X" advance direction, governed by the press control unit (1) and the pincers (4) are supported unitarily by a car (7) moveable in the "X" direction over a guide-bars series (8, 8') for transport. To make the individual positioning of the pincers (4) relative to stations (F1,F2, W1-W4) of the press, the feeder (2) has automatic traction mediums (10, 10') for the simultaneous displacement (d1, d2) of all the guide-bars (8, 8'). Once positioned, the cars (7) are detached from the table (11) and located in the guide-bar (8, 8') in a sequential manner.
