Abstract

Apparatus for breaking rubbish bags. This consists of a breaking device (1) made up of numerous swords (2) mounted on a rotating motor (16) moved by a motor (28). In this manner, the rubbish bags (34) do not receive an impact with more energy than the kinetic energy stored in the swords (2). The breaking device (1) is kept clean by a cleaning comb (3) made up of numerous parallel plates (40) between which the swords (2) pass during their rotation. The rubbish bags (34) are positioned in the trajectory of the swords (2) by means of a fixed support feeder (10) and perpendicular laths (12) pulled by chains (14) that are moved by a gear at the head (4) and the tail (5).
