SEGUN LA PRESENTE INVENCION, SE PROPORCIONA UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE PRODUCCION DE CROMANOS, QUE CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN FENOL, UN FORMALDEHIDO Y UN ALCOHOL, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA AMINA SECUNDARIA Y DE UN ACIDO, PARA PRODUCIR UN COMPUESTO DE ALCOXIMETILFENOL, ESTANDO SUSTITUIDA LA POSICION ORTO RESPECTO AL GRUPO HIDROXILO, POR UN GRUPO ALCOXIMETILO, Y HACIENDO REACCIONAR EL COMPUESTO DE ALCOXIMETILFENOL CON UN COMPUESTO INSATURADO QUE TIENE UN DOBLE ENLACE CARBONO-CARBONO. ENTRE LOS COMPUESTOS DE ALCOXIMETILFENOL PRODUCIDOS COMO PRODUCTOS INTERMEDIARIOS DURANTE LA REACCION CITADA, ALGUNOS ESPECIFICOS SON COMPUESTOS NUEVOS.
