Abstract

Tornillo para implantes dentales. Del tipo de los que incorporan un cuello (1) liso y un cuerpo (2) roscado, para permitir su implantación mediante técnica semi-sumergida, centra sus características en el hecho de que el cuello (1) presenta una generatriz (9) sensiblemente curvo-cóncava, para evitar el stress compresivo transversal de la parte cortical del hueso, presenta en dicho cuello (1) un primer sector (6) liso y pulido para favorecer una superficie de contacto óptima al paradonto perimplantario marginal, y un segundo sector (7) rugoso para facilitar la fijación del tejido óseo, a la vez que el cuerpo (2) es ligeramente cónico, con una progresiva reducción de diámetro hacia su zona apical (3), que se acentúa en las proximidades de ésta última, para conferir a dicho cuerpo (2) y al tornillo en su conjunto un carácter autoroscante, a la vez que el filete de rosca es acusadamente asimétrico, con un plano posterior (4) acusadamente inclinado y un plano frontal (5) de inclinación mínima.
