Abstract
Uso intraocular de una combinación de viscoelástico y anestésico (material viscoanestésico). Se describe un nuevo uso de una formulación anestésica constituida por un material viscoelástico y un agente anestésico local incorporado en dicho material viscoelástico uniformemente distribuido por la totalidad de su masa, caracterizado dicho uso porque dicha formulación se emplea para uso oftálmico tópico e intraocular. La citada formulación es especialmente adecuada y ventajosa para cirugía oftálmica, en especial cirugía del segmento anterior del ojo, por ejemplo, cirugía de catarata en cualquiera de sus modalidades.
