Abstract

The solenoid valve has a housing (1) closed by a cover (4). The housing connects to the vapor collector and the cover to the engine. A winding (22) with an axially adjustable stationary core (18) and a mobile core (17) opens and closes the vapor passage (16). A spring (30) holds the valve normally closed. The travel of the valve is regulated by adjusting the stationary core.
