Abstract
Procedure for manufacture of a product based on mussel shells used in the formation of bedding for stabled animals.Procedure for manufacture of a product based on mussel shells used in the formation of bedding for stabled animals that consists in: using a hopper for reception of mussel shells coming from cooking plants and/or preserved food factories drying and sterilizing in a drier the mussel shells at a temperature of 120 degrees C for 15 minutes using a centrifugal mill which turns at 1000 revolutions per minute to carry out the crushing of the mussel shells for 15 minutes. The crushed product passes through a vibrating sieve, which produces a granulation of between 1 to 3 millimetres. This crushed product is stored in a finished product hopper from where it is extracted for packaging.
