Abstract

Device for integration and connection for chip card or magnetic band portable readers in personal computers.It consists of a prismatic body (A) constituted as a body divided in two. Each of the parts has front (I) and rear (F) openings. Through the front (I) is placed the portable reader (C), projecting the correct size for the introduction of the card. The rear opening (F) is used for the output of the cables that connect the reader to the PC using the installation of a printed board of microcircuits (B) to which are welded the connectors of the reader (D1 and D2) on one side and the other those of the PC (E1 and E2) for taking electric current and transmission of data respectively. The slots (J) and the perforations for screws (a1, a2, b1, b2, c1, c2, c3, c4, d1, d2, d3, and d4) are used for fixing the device to the PC.
