SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE DESCOMPOSICION BIOLOGICA AEROBIA DE SUSTANCIAS POCO HIDROSOLUBLES EN UN MEDIO ACUOSO Y UN NUEVO MICROORGANISMO DE LA CEPA IHI-91, ESPECIALMENTE ADECUADO PARA SU USO EN ESTE PROCESO. EL METODO SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE SE AUMENTA LA BIODISPONIBILIDAD DE LAS SUSTANCIAS QUE DEBEN DESCOMPONERSE ELEVANDO LA TEMPERATURA DEL MEDIO ACUOSO A 45 C O MAS Y DESPUES, PARA DESCOMPONER LAS SUSTANCIAS POCO HIDROSOLUBLES, SE EMPLEA UN CULTIVO DE MICROORGANISMOS TERMOFILOS QUE CRECEN EN AEROBIOSIS. CON ESTE METODO Y EL NUEVO MICROORGANISMO SE DESCOMPONEN MUY BIEN LAS GRASAS Y LOS COMPUESTOS GRASOS.
