Abstract

Single control for a cooking oven.A control that incorporates a rotating shaft (3) fitted with a lever (4) so that when the shaft (3) is at an angle, the lever (4) comes into contact with a microswitch (5) which permits current to pass to an electrical heat source in the cooking oven, while in the other stable position of the shaft, gas is permitted to pass through an outlet nozzle to supply a gas heater in the cooking oven, such that when one heat source is turned on, the other is turned off.Conventionally, cooking ovens have one control for each heat source.
