Abstract

Catalizador para la eliminación de óxidos de nitrógeno en presencia de oxígeno. El objeto de la presente invención es preparar un catalizador que permita la descomposición y/o reducción de los NO{sub,x}, presente en los gases provenientes de cámaras de combustión como los tubos de escape de coches, plantas industriales, etc., sin empleo de amoniaco como agente reductor y manteniendo una elevada actividad en presencia de importantes cantidades de oxígeno. Para ello, se empleará un catalizador que permita la descomposición y/o reducción de los óxidos de nitrógeno, compuesto por una zeolita con una relación molar siO{sub,2}/Al{sub, 2}O{sub, 3} mayor de 15 conteniendo iones cobre, cobalto, platino, paladio u otros metales de transición.Catalyst for the elimination of nitrogen oxides in the presence of oxygen.
