Abstract

Arrangement of nets for eel fishing.This arrangement consists of groups of nets formed by combinations of fishing pots and fixed nets in which the former are linked to the latter, or where the apertures of the pots are lined up with openings on the fixed nets.When the tackle is set out in channels, it is laid out in cod-end fashion (12) and orientated towards the sea. One of the pots (13) is put at the bottom and the side fixed nets (15), which are coupled to the sidewalls (16) of the channels, and pots (17) are then linked to these with their apertures out to sea.When the tackle is set out on a lake the fixed nets are arranged in a straight axis form (18) with branches coming out at straight angles (19) and the pots are laid next to each other (20) along the fixed net or linked to the straight-angled branches (21).
