Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para regenerar térmicamente el ácido gastado, formándose dicho ácido gastado en relación con la depuración de gases portadores de dióxido de azufre creados en la producción pirometalúrgica de metales. De acuerdo con el método, el ácido gastado se concentra y se suministra al espacio de gas de un horno de fusión primaria, para obtener la energía necesitada en la regeneración térmica del ácido gastado del contenido calorífico de los gases calientes creados en el proceso de fusión.
