Abstract

Device for supporting a damaged wheel on a motor vehicle. It is composed of a carriage (1) adapted to be placed below the broken wheel, that includes a rectangular chassis (2), equipped with at least two transversal bars (3, 4) and with at least two longitudinal arms (5). The carriage (1) is held by idle wheels (7) whose diameter is much smaller than that of the broken wheel (23).It includes support resources for the broken wheel, held by the chassis (2) and that can adopt the shape of a concave stiff platform (6) and/or rolling and/or sliding elements, preferably self-sliding transversal rollers. A ramp (8) next to or immobile with respect to the carriage, allows the insertion of the broken wheel (23) into the latter. The broken wheel rests on the stiff platform and/or rollers, so that the vehicle (18) can circulate with the broken wheel resting simply and in a stable manner on the device.
